MY ORIGINAL CREATION: MIGHTY MITE!

Hi,
This is Mighty Mite! He's part of an orginal character creation I came up for my very own children's illustrated book series entitle: "MIGHTY MITE".
There are three books already published: Mighty Mite 1: A New Beginning, Mighty Mite 2: Zoo Gone Wild, and Mighty Mite 3: Good Mites, Bad Mites.
The story revolves around a little green alien boy named, Maximus- who happens to be 2 1/2 inches tall and is adpoted by an earth family. All Maximus wants to do is fit in. It's not easy being small and green. Being different also does have a plus side, for instance, whenever Maximus takes in calcium, he turns in to Mighty Mite- who happens to be the world's smallest superhero! Having been an animation artist for over 10 years and worked for three of the biggest major animated feature studios in Hollywood, I've decided to use my God-given talents to create my very own children's illustrative books. I have now written, illustrated, and published three books entitled the "Mighty Mite" series. The first book is entitled "MIGHTY MITE: A New Beginning" (8x10 hardcover). Mighty Mite about a little green alien boy who is adopted by an earth family and is trying to fit in. Maximus, little alien boy who is the main character, is 2 1/2 inches tall and happens to be the world's smallest superhero. It has been well received by critics, kids and even adults (who are young at heart). There are two more titles in the series: "Mighty Mite: Zoo Gone Wild, and Mighty Mite: Good Mites, Bad Mites". There's been a lot of challenges in publishing the Mighty Mite book series, but well worth the effort- especially when getting raving feedback from parents and seeing the kids gleem and laugh as I read the books to them at local churches and private day care settings.

Hi everyone,
I'm a former Disney Feature Animation artist and have been blessed with 14 feature film credits. Here's some of my film credits: The Lion King, Atlantis, Treasure Planet, Fantasia 2000, The Prince of Egypt, The Road to El Dorado, Sinbad, The Iron Giant, The Quest for Camelot, The SpongeBob Sqarepants Movie, Universal Studio's Curious George, and most recently- Disney's The Princess and The Frog.

I've created this blog in hopes of meeting people who share the same interests as me: Animation, Comics, Drawing, Illustrations, Cartooning, Painting, and any other form of art.
